But that�s not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully. I�m actually as proud of the things we haven�t done as the things I have done. Innovation is saying no to 1,000 things.�    �Your time is limited, so don�t waste it living someone else�s life. Don�t be trapped by dogma�which is living with the results of other people�s thinking. Don�t let the noise of others� opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.�                                       �That�s been one of my mantras�focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it�s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.�                                     �A lot of people in our industry haven�t had very diverse experiences. So they don�t have enough dots to connect, and they end up with very linear solutions without a broad perspective on the problem. The broader one�s understanding of the human experience, the better design we will have.�                              �My favorite things in life don�t cost any money. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something�your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.�                                                                        �If you want to live your life in a creative way, as an artist, you have to not look back too much. You have to be willing to take whatever you�ve done and whoever you were and throw them away.�                                                                         �Quality is much better than quantity.   One home run is much better than two doubles.�                                 �I�ve always been attracted to the more revolutionary changes. I don�t know why. Because they�re harder. They�re much more stressful emotionally. And you usually go through a period where everybody tells you that you�ve completely failed.�                                    �Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn�t matter to me . . . Going to bed at night saying we�ve done something wonderful�that�s what matters to me.�                         �You should never start a company with the goal of getting rich. Your goal should be making something you believe in and making a company that will last.�                                                            �If you don�t love something, you�re not going to go the extra mile, work the extra weekend, challenge the status quo as much.�                                                                                        �Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven�t found it yet, keep looking. Don�t settle.
